Called giclée because the printer digitally dispenses tiny squirts of ink onto canvas or paper in a million droplets per second, producing a print with a resolution higher than the traditional lithograph and with a wider color range than serigraphy. Our giclée prints have a deep saturated look, revealing every subtle tint and variation of the original painting. Tremendous care is employed into every single print. Craig Everhard is personally involved with each and every high-resolution digital capture of his original work. He does his own corrections and enhancements, removing dust and dirt marks for every digital image, and finally oversees the entire color proofing process and finished stage of printing. Every print that we sell is printed with archival inks and is on your choice of archival paper or canvas, and includes an official Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist. Art Business News conducts a survey on print trends every year and reported recently that giclées have now outpaced the sale of serigraphs in the majority of the 500 galleries being polled. Giclées also have an impressive exhibition record.
